Welcome to the Prieuré de Loups
Welcome to the Prieuré de Loups (the “Priory of Wolves”), a pretty historic 17th century house in the heart of the Brenne, just 3 hours from Paris.
On the edge of one of the thousand ponds that characterize our beautiful region, the Prieuré welcomes you in an exceptional, quiet environment, conducive to walking and relaxing.
A refined and welcoming residence.
Completely renovated in 2012, the house includes five guest rooms with private bathrooms that can comfortably accommodate up to 11 people and large reception rooms.
You can enjoy the best hours of the day on two terraces, one sunny, the other shaded.
You also have a petanque court and all-terrain bikes for your strolls in the Brenne park.
Nature is omnipresent around the Priory : you can have access by foot to observation sites set up by the Brenne Regional Natural Park, go on hikes without taking your car and, in Autumn, listen to the billowing of the deer from your room.
In the heart of the Brenne Natural Park
La Brenne, a paradise for birds, a land of migration and nesting, seduces ornithologists and nature lovers.
Numerous hiking trails cross it. They give you the opportunity to walk along magnificent ponds, to observe a particular fauna and flora, and perhaps even to meet large animals (roe deers, deers, wild boars...).
It also offers many other possibilities for activities, in particular by its proximity to the castles of the Loire Valley or to certain historical monuments such as the castle of Azay-le-Ferron, the Gallo-Roman archaeological site of Argentomagnus or the castle of Valençay, residence of Talleyrand.
Enjoy a relaxing break, a nature immersion, a sports weekend or cultural discoveries...
